There are many areas to plug in and serve at The River Community Church. The following is a list of reoccurring opportunities the church has. All activities take place at church unless noted otherwise.

Saturday Sacks

Saturday Sacks is a ministry to pack food for local school children to receive as needed for the weekends.

Blanket Ministry

The first Tuesday of every month at 9:30AM

The blanket ministry makes blankets that are donated to children who must leave their home on short notice with DFCS.

Lay Reader

Each Sunday morning at 10AM
Lay Readers are part of the Sunday morning worship and read scripture from the ESV translation of the Bible.

Greeter

Each Sunday morning at 9:15AM
The host team may be the first face a visitor sees on Sunday morning. We greet everyone who enters the church door and directs newcomers around the church.

Coffee Team

Each Sunday morning at 9:30AM
The coffee team serves coffee and pastries each Sunday morning before service begins.

Security

Each Sunday morning at 9:15AM
Our security team monitors all entrance and exit doors of our main worship building as well as the River Kids building.

Worship

The worship team is comprised of singers, musicians, camera crew and an audio team. The worship team invites you to join the choir or the praise team.

Student Ministry

Each Sunday evening from 5-6:30PM
You can be a mentor to one of our students in 6th - 12th grade. Student ministry is crucial because it provides a dedicated space for young people to explore and develop their faith during a critical period of life.

Children's Ministry

Each Sunday morning at 9:30AM
If you have a passion for serving the youngest of God's kingdom we invite you to join.

Vacation Bible School

Communion Ministry

Monthly
This ministry delivers communion elements to nursing homes.

Bereavement Ministry

As Needed
This ministry provides a meal to the families of our church members when a death has occurred.
